The March 2026 MIDH report highlights Belize’s major ongoing and completed national infrastructure projects, including significant road upgrades such as the Corozal–Sarteneja Road, Caracol Road Phases 1 and 2, and the George Price Highway modernization across multiple segments, all aimed at improving transport efficiency, climate resilience, and economic connectivity. The report also covers major bridge replacements—including the Belcan Bridge and Swing Bridge—plus community-linking projects like the Bullet Tree–Spanish Lookout road, the expansion of the Philip Goldson Highway, and continued upgrades to the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway. These investments strengthen mobility, support trade, enhance safety, and deliver long-term social and economic benefits across Belize.
